Hi Everyone
How does 33 degrees Celsius sound? The day was amazing even though it was hot and long.
We started off with a wonderful western style breakfast. A few items were traditional dishes like Congee, fried noodles and bok choy.
After breakfast our day of touring began. A bus ride to Tienanmen Square and The Forbidden City in the morning and then a traditional Chinese lunch including duck and fungus dishes. Then it was off to Houtong district for a visit to a local home and a rickshaw ride.
Everything has been fantastic and we are all well. Tomorrow will be our first choir practice and another wonderful day of exploring.
